Part of the Spell to Write and Read (SWR) curriculum.

The Learning Log is one of the most important pieces in the "Spell to Write and Read" approach. Students K-1 use the Primary Learning Log. The front pages have two columns for spelling words with room at the bottom of the page for the best original sentence of the week. Reference Pages are formatted as an appendix in the back of the book. A John Hancock signature chart is included for charting improvement in penmanship. Students create a new log every school year.

Note: The Primary Learning Log is for students in Key Stage 1, or from Reception to Year 2. Older students use the Black Learning Log.
